The Starway World Best Hotel awards are given to the top 100 hotels out of over 5,000 hotels operating in nearly 60 destinations across 28 countries in 2014
The winners of the Starway World Best Hotels awards were determined by evaluations from tourists served by Coral Travel in the previous year.
Over 20% of the 2.9 million tourists served by Coral Travel in 2014 participated in the survey. A total of 274,953 individuals, with one person per family, provided evaluations via the survey.
In addition to Coral Travel’s Russian guests, tourists from Ukraine, CIS countries, Georgia, Poland, Türkiye, and Balkan countries also participated in the survey. The survey evaluated the service performance, staff, food and beverages, general areas, room and restaurant cleanliness, children’s services, gardens and pools, and animation and sports facilities, regardless of the hotels' star ratings. Scores were calculated based on the responses to determine the total points.
